Terms of service

The service
Email Finder (“we”, “us”) derives candidate business email addresses from a person's name and a company domain you supply, checks them against the receiving mail server, and reports the result with a verification status. You (“you”) pay per lookup at the rates published on our pricing page. We are an independent Ounie product.
What a result is, and is not
A verified status means the receiving mail server accepted that mailbox at the time we asked. It is not a guarantee of delivery, that the person reads it, that they still work there, or that contacting them is appropriate.
accept_all and unverified results are explicitly unconfirmed, and we label them as such precisely so you do not treat them as confirmations. Sending cold volume to an unconfirmed address risks bounces that damage your own sending reputation. That risk is yours, and choosing to send anyway is your decision.
Results are provided as-is.
Billing
There is no subscription. Lookups are billed in Ounie credits (1 credit = 1¢) from your shared Ounie wallet at 10 credits per lookup that returns an address. The price is reserved when you submit and settled only when an address comes back; a lookup that finds nothing, that we refuse, or that we cannot complete refunds the reservation automatically and in full.
A result labelled accept_all or unverified is a billable answer — the work was done and the answer is honest about its own limits.
Credits are purchased and managed on ounie.com. Your lookup history stays readable regardless of your balance. Keyless x402 calls are paid per call in USDC and settle only when an address is found; once settled they are final.
Acceptable use
You agree that you will not use Email Finder to:
- Send unlawful bulk email, or any messaging that breaches the anti-spam or data-protection rules that apply to you or your recipients.
- Harass, stalk, dox, or endanger anyone, or look up a person for any purpose other than legitimate business contact.
- Enumerate a domain — scripting the service to discover which mailboxes exist at a company rather than reaching a specific named person. We do not offer a bulk endpoint and treat enumeration patterns as abuse.
- Resell raw access to the service, bypass rate limits, or probe undocumented endpoints.
We may suspend accounts that do these things, and we will refuse individual requests without charge.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to look someone up and to contact them, and for complying with the rules that apply where you and they are — the GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and anything else. We provide a lookup; we do not provide legal advice and we cannot make that assessment for you.
Availability
The service depends on third-party infrastructure and on the behaviour of mail servers we do not control. When we cannot complete a lookup we tell you and charge nothing. We do not guarantee uptime or a particular hit rate, and we do not promise that any given person's address is findable.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
